A new nine track album by the utterly brilliant but often hidden A Certain Ratio. ACR. Experiencing “The Graveyard and the Ballroom” album for the first time, just a month ago, was an utter sensation to me: there it was in its bright green plastic pouch, with a press-stud to close. I played and played it.. and sold the shop copy to a Japanese man, looking for interesting English music.
Force Majeure features unreleased original versions and alternate takes, and acts as a “companion” album to celebrate the 40th anniversary of ACR’s 1986 album “Force”. Me, I can’t wait!
