The collaboration between Nine Inch Nails and Boys Noize grew from raw, live improvisations during their joint 2025–2026 tour, culminating in a performance at Coachella 2026. This creative synergy led to the purely electronic project "Nine Inch Noize," where Alex Ridha (Boys Noize) heavily reworks and deconstructs iconic industrial tracks from Trent Reznor’s catalogue. By blending the dark, aggressive foundations of Nine Inch Nails with Boys Noize's signature pounding techno and electro house rhythms, the album reimagines classic songs like "Closer," "Heresy," and "Copy of A" as high-energy dancefloor weapons while preserving the band's gritty aesthetic.
