Pixies fourth studio album, released in 1991. The 2026 Remaster by Kevin Vanbergen is from the original analogue tapes.

Musically, the album marked a significant shift away from the eerie, acoustic-tinged surf-rock of Bossanova (1990) and a return to the raw, aggressive, fast-paced guitar rock found on Surfer Rosa, infusing the aggression with a polished, space-age pop production. Bossanova was The Pixies last full length album before their decade long break up.
