David Bowie - The Rise And Fall of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars - 180g Black Vinyl, 2012 Remaster, 2024 Repress.
No time at all after the recording of Hunky Dory, the same team were back in the same place to record David Bowie’s fifth album. Well the same team minus Rick Wakeman; and with Dudley Moore not being able to be contacted, Mick Ronson assumed piano duties.
All songs were again composed By Bowie at Haddon Hall - making Three Albums almost entirely composed there. Ken Scott viewed Ziggy as the Loud Album, and the other side of the same coin as Hunky Dory, the Quiet Album.
